Dear Detective

The house was rotting in dust—there was no question it had been abandoned for many years. Yet as the detective and younger male approached the house—dread filled the air. It could have been the way the house sat—Its foundation creaking with the wind and settling as the house molded and wore away—or maybe it was the feeling of murder, as one had just taken place there and it lingered in the air. It was dusk out and the wind pulled lightly at their hair. The detective wasn’t supposed to be letting the younger male come with, but his curiosity about the murder and the detective’s work intrigued the boy,

My KingdomEven in the dark, fabricated by the blanket pulled over his head—he felt safe. He was protected by the safety net that was the caressing darkness. He was in his own world now. He could pretend to be whoever he wanted—he could be whoever he wanted.

The thin comforter was transportation into a world of possibilities. The simple action of closing his eyes, cradling the phone and speaking in another’s voice was the real magic, giving him the mental illusion of being in another place.

Dear Detective, I'm back.

Watching: Tv in a little bit.
Eating: Junk food. O:

I'm working on a second part to my Dear Detective story. It's going to be MUCH longer this time. I would normally just put them together.. but I never planned on making a second part, but a friend of mine asked (whined xD) about me continuing it.

So.. Dear Detective will have more detective-ish things in it, (I sound like a real writter, huh? 'Detective-ish'. xD) and I'm hoping to make it much more interesting.
It's going to be put together.. but for the sake of people not knowing about the second part, it'll get put up as PART TWO.

I'm working on it now.. so.. it'll probably get done in a week or two. Maybe more, cause I'm lazy.

I have a few poems in my gallery--they're the only ones I've written that I didn't think were complete crap. You have to go to the back of my gallery to see any traditional art, really.
